soft (re)launch

If you're reading this, congratulations! You get to know a secret: I'm going to be slowly and softly relaunching my blog, with a shifted focus to ecology, conservation, sustainability, scientific outreach, and other things like geocaching for kicks. I'm still figuring out the direction and update schedule, but I should have something ready to go by the end of the week.

In the meantime, I've weeded out all the old posts that were not congruent to the blog's new direction, and am considering a title change...
